The Howard University Faculty Practice Plan (HU FPP) is a 200-physician faculty, multi-specialty group practice serving the cultural hub of Washington D.C. The HU FPP specializes in outpatient procedures for patients with a variety of medical needs. The FPP is committed to providing the highest-quality care and experience for every single patient and visitor that enters through its doors.

Safety Guidelines
For your safety and the safety of others, please adhere to the following protocols and guidelines inside of the Faculty Practice Plan, even if you are fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.

All visitors must check-in at the Main Entrance (Georgia Ave) visitor’s desk or the Tower’s Entrance (Fifth Street) visitor’s desk.

All visitors must undergo a temperature check upon entering the facility.

All visitors and staff are required to sanitize their hands upon entering the facility.

All visitors are required to wear a mask or facial covering at all times inside of the facility.

COVID- 19 Response Clinic
The Howard University Faculty Practice Plan was awarded a $1 million grant to improve access to COVID-19 testing centers in diverse Washington D.C. communities located east of the river. Ava J. Sullivan, COVID-19 Response Supervisor, and Clinical Practice Supervisor - 2022 LaRue V. Barkwell Capstone Distinguished Service Award (over 17 years of medical administrative knowledge).
